WriteUpp is much cheaper. Why does Jump cost more?

Because they're different products, and we'd rather say that than dodge it. WriteUpp publishes pricing from £27.95 a month and is honestly good value for what it is. Jump is from £100 per user per month and carries the clinical layer that doesn't exist in WriteUpp's public materials: dm+d prescribing checks, structured lab results, fifteen self-maintaining registers, care gaps and NHS GP sending. If you don't need the clinical layer, don't pay for it - genuinely.

Both integrate with CloudRx - is prescribing the same?

The pharmacy is shared; the checking isn't. In WriteUpp's documented flow, CloudRx generates and delivers the private prescription. In Jump, the prescription is checked before it goes: dm+d-matched, with hard safety alerts that block issuing, allergy checks against the coded record, and dispensing status tracked back from four partner pharmacies.

Can you migrate us off WriteUpp?

Honestly: our one-click structured import is currently Semble-only. WriteUpp transitions are scoped case-by-case with our team - we review what you can export, agree what must arrive as structured records, and plan a safe go-live with a sandbox for your team first. We won't claim an import wizard we don't have.

Is this comparison fair to WriteUpp?

We try to be. Every capability their public materials document gets a yes - including insurer e-billing through Healthcode, which goes their way - and there's a section above on where WriteUpp genuinely fits better. "Not documented" means we could not find it in their public materials at the date shown, not a claim it doesn't exist. If anything here is out of date, tell us and we'll correct it.
