For patients
Improving your experience as a patient
Your healthcare provider uses Jump EHR to deliver your care. We build the technology behind the scenes - helping your provider keep accurate records, communicate with you securely, and give you direct access to your health information.
Who we are
We are a health technology company that builds electronic health record software for private healthcare providers in the UK. Our system is the clinical record your provider uses to manage your consultations, prescriptions, test results, and more.
We are not your healthcare provider and we do not make clinical decisions. We build and maintain the technology your provider relies on to deliver your care safely and efficiently.
We always encrypt your data and never sell it.
We comply with UK GDPR and take data protection very seriously.
We follow clinical safety standards DCB0129 and DCB0160.
We are certified by Cyber Essentials Plus.

Why we exist
We built Jump EHR because we believe every patient deserves safe, thorough record-keeping - regardless of whether they are seen privately or on the NHS. That means proper drug interaction checks on every prescription, coded medical records, and modern tools that put you closer to your own care.
Our goal is simple: better technology for your healthcare provider means a better experience for you. Less time on the phone, easier access to your records, and confidence that your care is supported by a safe, modern system.
Your data is safe with us
We understand that health data is some of the most sensitive information there is. That is why security is at the core of everything we build.
- Encrypted everywhere. Your data is encrypted when it is sent to us and when it is stored. Nobody can read it without the right credentials.
- Never sold. We do not sell your data. Ever. Our business model is providing great software to healthcare providers - not monetising patient information.
- Clinical safety standards. We follow DCB0129 and DCB0160, the same clinical safety standards applied to NHS health IT systems.
Frequently asked questions
What is Jump EHR?
Jump EHR is an electronic health record system used by private healthcare providers to manage patient records, appointments, prescriptions, and communications. If your healthcare provider uses Jump, some of your interactions with them - like booking online or viewing your record - are powered by our software.
What data do you hold about me?
We store the clinical and administrative data that your healthcare provider records as part of your care. Your provider is the data controller - they decide what is recorded and who can access it. We provide the technology and keep it secure.
Who can see my data?
Only authorised staff at your healthcare provider can access your records. We have strict role-based access controls, meaning each member of staff can only see the information they need to provide your care. Jump EHR staff do not routinely access patient data.
Do you sell my data?
No. We would never sell patient data. We are paid by healthcare providers for our software - your data is not our business model.
How do you protect my data?
We encrypt all data both in transit and at rest. We use secure cloud infrastructure, maintain strict access controls, and follow clinical safety standards. You can read more on our security page.
How can I access or correct my records?
If your provider has enabled online record access, you can view your health information directly through the patient portal. To correct inaccuracies or make a formal subject access request under UK GDPR, please contact your healthcare provider.
I have a complaint or concern - who do I contact?
For any concerns about your care, please contact your healthcare provider directly. If you have a concern specifically about how Jump EHR handles data, you can reach us at hello@usejump.co.uk.
Have a question?
For questions about your care, appointments, or medical records, please contact your healthcare provider directly. For questions about Jump EHR and how we handle data, you can reach our team.
