Setting up the Document Library in Jump

Store files like consent forms centrally in Jump and attach them to patient messages without hunting for them on your desktop.

What the document library does

Jump has added a document library to make it easier to manage the files you regularly send to patients. A consent form is a good example, the kind of file you might send out often but previously had to find on your desktop and upload each time.

With the document library, you upload a file once and store it centrally in Jump. From there you can dispatch it whenever you need to, directly from the patient's message builder, instead of repeating the same upload every time.

Where to find it

In Jump, go to Configuration and scroll down to Messages. You'll see a new tab named Document Library. This is where you upload and manage your files. PDFs, images and document files can all be stored here.

Sending a stored document to a patient

When you go to message a patient, you can still attach a document from the patient's record as before. Now you'll also see a new tab called Document Library, letting you select from your stored files and attach one directly to the message.

Patients access these documents in the same way they already access other documents, behind the date of birth encrypted links. It's a simple change, but it means documents can be managed once and reused consistently across the practice.

Jump is browser-based with same-day setup and public per-user pricing. A 30-minute call walks the whole loop - book, consult, prescribe, invoice, follow up.
