Features · AI assistant

Meet Skip. It runs the admin, you run the clinic.

Ask in plain English and Skip answers from what Jump can do and what your role allows, then finds things, fills in the forms and works through the admin. Skip proposes; you confirm. It does everything in Jump that isn't a clinical decision, and it knows where that line is.

Can reception set up a booking link for our Saturday flu clinics?
Yes - creating booking links needs the Manage settings permission, which reception has. Want me to set one up for a Saturday flu clinic?

How it works

Ask in plain English. Skip does the rest, with you in the loop.

Four steps, in the order a request actually flows. Skip answers, finds, proposes and troubleshoots, and you stay in control of anything it changes.

Step 1

Ask, and get an answer grounded in your Jump

Skip answers "can I do this?" from a curated capability registry first, then from your practice's own support articles. Answers are scoped to your role, so Skip only offers what your permissions allow and points you to an admin when they don't. If it doesn't know, it says so rather than guessing.

Ask Skipgrounded answer

"Can I give the practice nurse access to reporting?"

Yes, if you have the Manage roles permission. Reporting access is a role setting in Settings > Team.

Step 2

Find things, and see the numbers

Search patients, appointments, tasks, workflow runs and booking links by asking. Ask for a count or a trend and Skip runs the query and draws the chart: appointment volumes, DNA rates, task throughput, referral counts. It's practice operations, not clinical analytics, and Skip tells you plainly when a number is something it can't pull.

Step 3

Do the admin - and you always confirm

Ask Skip to create a task, book or cancel an appointment, set up a recall rule, tidy the inbox, edit a message template or toggle an app. It either opens the form pre-filled for you to save, or shows a confirmation card you click to apply. Nothing outward-facing is ever auto-sent, and irreversible steps like merging two patient records only ever open the review screen.

Step 4

Troubleshoots before it escalates

When something isn't behaving - a session that won't show, a setting you can't find - Skip diagnoses the likely cause and hands you the fix. If it genuinely can't resolve it, it can raise a support ticket or a feature request on your behalf, so the question reaches a human with the context attached.

"The clinic I added isn't showing on Saturday."

Found it. Your calendar is on a remote-only view, and this is an in-person session. Switch the view filter to All and it appears.

Where Skip works

Built into Jump, aware of where you are.

Skip is part of the app, not a bolt-on chatbot. It reads the page you're on, works within your role, and reaches across the practice.

Common questions

Questions, answered.

The five questions practices most often ask about Skip. If yours isn't here, ask us on a demo call.

Two things: answer questions about how Jump works, and do non-clinical admin for you. Ask "can I do X?" and Skip answers from a capability registry and your support articles, scoped to your role. Ask it to find a patient, book an appointment, set up a recall, tidy the inbox, draft a reminder or pull a chart of DNA rates, and it does, opening a form or a confirmation card for you to approve.
