Switching · From Semble

Moving from Semble to Jump.

Jump's structured import brings your patients, consultation history, medications, allergies, appointments, documents, lab results and invoices across from Semble, and our team runs it with you. This page says plainly what arrives, what you rebuild and what the move involves.

structured import from Semblerun by the Jump team£2,500 one-off · optional

The short version

The import is built for Semble and the data arrives as records, not as a folder of files. Your history of consultation notes arrives as the free text it was written as, and from your first day in Jump every consultation is SNOMED coded. Templates and product set-up are rebuilt on Jump rather than copied, which most practices find works out better.

What arrives

What comes across from Semble.

The import covers the records a practice needs on day one. How each arrives is stated here so there are no surprises on go-live.

structured

Patients and contacts

Demographics and contact details come across as patient records in Jump.

free text · filed under one problem

Consultation notes

Historical notes arrive as free text, filed under a General Consultation Notes problem. Observations such as blood pressure arrive as structured observations, SNOMED coded where Semble supplied a code.

structured

Medications and allergies

Medication history and allergies arrive as structured records on the patient.

structured

Appointments and bookings

Past and booked appointments come across with your appointment types, so the diary has its history.

files and letters

Documents and letters

Letters and files are brought across and attached to the right patient.

structured

Lab results, invoices, tasks

Lab results, invoices and your service catalogue, open tasks and questionnaires are part of the import.

What you rebuild on Jump.

Three things do not copy across, because the two systems work differently. Templates are recreated in Jump, and you can describe one in plain language and have Jump draft it. Semble product configuration is set up fresh as Jump appointment types and pricing. Heidi AI settings do not transfer, since Jump includes its own AI documentation tools in the per-user price.

How it works

From kick-off to go-live.

Most practices plan for four to six weeks. Your onboarding lead agrees the dates around your diary.

01

Scope the move

A kick-off call covers your practice, your priorities and your timeline, and what you want configured first.

02

Configure Jump

We set up your organisation, locations, clinicians, appointment types, billing through Stripe or Xero, and user accounts.

03

Import and check

The Jump team runs the import. Your team spot-checks the imported records against Semble and any gaps are resolved before go-live.

04

Train the team

Training is tailored to your workflows, with sessions for clinicians, reception and the practice manager.

05

Go live

You switch to Jump as your main system, with closer support in the first weeks. You can run both systems briefly or cut over on one date.

Common questions

Questions about moving, answered.

If yours is not here, ask us on a demo call.

The wording of historical notes does not get recoded. Semble notes are free text, and they arrive in Jump as free text, filed under a General Consultation Notes problem. Observations such as blood pressure arrive as structured observations, SNOMED coded where Semble supplied a code, and allergies, medications and lab results arrive as structured records. Every consultation you write in Jump from your first day is SNOMED coded.
