Data Tables and Reports

The Reports page provides access to all of your practice's data in browsable, filterable tables. Every table in Jump uses a powerful Attio-style interface with filtering, saved views, column customisation, and CSV export.

Available Data Tables

Tables are organised into three categories:

Data Tables

Table What It Contains
Patients All patient records with demographics and status
Appointments Booked, completed, cancelled, and missed appointments
Questionnaires Submitted questionnaire responses
Sent Messages Emails and SMS messages sent to patients
Patient Links Manage links and portal access records
Recalls Scheduled patient recalls and their status
Prescriptions Issued prescriptions
Tasks All tasks with status and assignment

Billing & Finance

Table What It Contains
Invoices All invoices with status, amounts, and payment history
Payments Individual payment records linked to invoices

Labs

Table What It Contains
Lab Requests Outbound lab orders sent to laboratories
Lab Results Inbound results received from laboratories

Filtering

Every table has a filter bar at the top with:

  • Text search - type to search across all visible columns (case-insensitive)
  • Column filters - click the filter icon to add filters for specific columns. Filter types include:
    • Text - free-text matching
    • Select - pick from a dropdown (e.g. status, clinician)
    • Multi-select - choose multiple values (e.g. several appointment types)
    • Date range - pick a start and end date
    • Boolean - toggle on/off flags
  • Active filter badges - applied filters appear as badges below the filter bar. Click the X on a badge to remove it, or click Clear all to reset everything.

Sorting

Click any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the direction, and a third time to remove the sort. A small arrow icon shows the current sort direction.

Saved Views

You can save your current filter, column, and sort configuration as a named view for quick access later:

  1. Set up your desired filters, columns, and sort order
  2. Open the Views dropdown at the top of the table
  3. Click Save as new view and give it a name
  4. The view is now available in the dropdown for one-click access

Some tables include default views (e.g. "Active Patients", "All Patients", "Archived Patients") that are available out of the box.

You can also:

  • Update a view - modify the filters and save over an existing view
  • Delete a view - remove custom views you no longer need (default views cannot be deleted)
  • Unsaved changes - a badge appears when your current table state differs from the selected view

Column Customisation

Click the Columns button to open the Column Manager:

  • Show/hide columns - toggle which columns are visible in the table
  • Reorder columns - drag and drop columns into your preferred order
  • Resize columns - drag the right edge of a column header to adjust its width
  • Reset to default - restore all built-in columns to their default visibility and order

Column preferences are saved automatically and persist between sessions. If you have a saved view selected, column changes are saved to that view.

Exporting as CSV

To download your data:

  1. Open the Views dropdown
  2. Click Export as CSV
  3. A CSV file is downloaded containing the currently filtered and sorted data
  4. Only visible columns are included in the export
  5. The file is named with the table type and a timestamp (e.g. "medications_2026-03-24.csv")

Bulk Selection and Actions

Many tables support selecting multiple rows for bulk actions:

  • Select rows - click the checkbox on each row, or use the header checkbox to select all visible rows
  • Range select - hold Shift and click to select a range of rows
  • Deselect all - press Escape to clear your selection

When rows are selected, a floating action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many items are selected and offering contextual actions (e.g. bulk archive, bulk assign, bulk export).

Row Details

Click any row to open a detail sidebar showing the full record. From the sidebar, you can view related information, take actions, or navigate to the full record.

Tip: Combine saved views with the CSV export to create reusable reports. For example, save a "This Month's Invoices" view with a date filter, then export it as a CSV whenever you need it.
