The Reporting Dashboard gives you a snapshot of your practice's activity and patient metrics. It is the landing page of the Reporting section and provides at-a-glance numbers across clinical, operational, and patient dimensions.
The dashboard displays the following operational metrics:
| Metric | Period |
|---|---|
| Appointments | Last 7 days |
| DNA Rate | Last 30 days (percentage of missed appointments) |
| Messages Sent | Last 7 days |
| Tasks Completed | Last 7 days |
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Active Patients | Total patients who are not archived |
| New Patients | Patients registered in the last 30 days |
| In Registers | Patients with active register memberships |
| Metric | Period |
|---|---|
| Prescriptions Issued | Last 30 days |
| Lab Results Received | Last 30 days |
| Unreviewed Lab Results | Currently awaiting review |
A bar chart shows the number of appointments per day over the last 14 days, giving you a quick view of how busy the practice has been.
Each metric card links to the relevant specialist analytics page. For example, clicking the Appointments metric takes you to the Appointments Analytics page for a deeper breakdown.
Tip: The Reporting Dashboard is different from the main Dashboard. The main Dashboard focuses on your personal tasks and diary, while the Reporting Dashboard shows practice-wide metrics.
Every analytics Overview now uses the same filter bar:
Available on Appointments, Online Booking, Finance, Medications, Tasks, Messaging, Referrals, Patients, Alerts, Pathology, Availability and Filing.
Three new Overview tabs join the existing analytics pages:
| Overview | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Availability | Scheduled sessions, available hours, booked-vs-free utilisation, capacity per clinician |
| Alerts | Active and critical alert counts, daily creation trend, category and severity breakdowns, upcoming reviews |
| Filing | Throughput, backlog, deletions-in-period, filings-per-day, and paginated Filed / Deleted tabs |
Tip: Availability has moved from Configuration into Reporting → Operational. The existing Schedules / Sessions / Blocks tables are unchanged and /app/availability still works.
