Let patients join a membership online

A Membership Link is a page you share with patients so they can join a membership without anyone here taking their details.

Go to Configuration → Billing & Finance → Memberships and open the Links tab. Create a link and choose which plans it offers - one link can carry several, so patients pick their own tier.

What the patient sees

  1. They open the link.
  2. They confirm who they are with a one-time code.
  3. They choose a plan and pay on the page.

The membership is created against their record when Stripe confirms the payment. If they abandon it halfway, nothing is left behind on your side.

A membership drawer has a Copy payment link action, but that is for an invoice a member already owes. It does not send anyone to a join page. Use a Membership Link to sign someone up.

Before you share one

Stripe needs to be connected, and the plans you want to offer need to exist. See Setting up and selling patient memberships.
