Overview
A clinical view gathers what is already recorded for one area of care into a single page on the patient's record. Jump offers two:
- Menopause shows an At a glance summary, the patient's treatment as recorded (HRT, testosterone, vaginal oestrogen, LNG-IUS and non-hormonal options), a grid of their symptoms and how severe they were on each date they were recorded, their blood pressure, weight and BMI readings, and their relevant history and recent activity.
- Functional medicine shows the patient's problems grouped by area, their supplement protocol as entered, and their medicines grouped by class. Anything that isn't coded is flagged so you can tidy it up.
A clinical view only shows what has been recorded, and every entry says where it came from. It doesn't work anything out or suggest anything.
Switching a view on for your practice
You need permission to manage settings.
- Go to Configuration → Consultations → Clinical views.
- Click the view, then switch on Available in this practice.
Switching a view off hides it from every record, but keeps the patients it was pinned to. Switch it back on and the pins come back.
Pinning a view to a patient
Views are pinned per patient, so they only appear on the records where they're useful.
- Open the patient's record, go to Clinical, and under Clinical views choose All views.
- Click Pin to this patient on the view.
The view now appears in the record's navigation under Clinical views, with a pin icon. A pin is shared with everyone at your practice who can see the patient's clinical record. Click Unpin on the All views page to remove it.
Good to know
- If Clinical views says no views are switched on, ask someone who manages settings to switch one on.
- The Menopause view reads symptom severity from your menopause templates and questionnaires, so the grid fills as those are recorded.
