Custom Email Domain

By default, outbound emails from Jump are sent from mail.usejump.co.uk. The Custom Email Domain app lets you send emails from your own domain (e.g. mail.yourclinic.com) for a more professional appearance.

How to Set Up

  1. Navigate to Apps > Custom Email Domain
  2. Open the Settings tab
  3. Enter your domain name (e.g. "mail.yourclinic.com") - a subdomain is recommended over a root domain
  4. Click Add Domain
  5. The system generates DNS records that you need to add to your DNS provider

DNS Configuration

After adding your domain, a table of DNS records appears showing:

  • Record Type (MX, TXT, etc.)
  • Status - Verified or Pending
  • Name and Value - use the copy buttons to copy each value
  • Priority (for MX records)

Add these records at your DNS provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Route 53). DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate.

Verification

Once you have added the DNS records:

  1. Return to the Settings tab
  2. Click Check Verification
  3. Records that have propagated show a Verified badge
  4. Once all records are verified, the domain status changes to Active

When active, all outbound emails from Jump will be sent from your custom domain.

Removing a Domain

Click Remove Domain to revert to the default mail.usejump.co.uk sender. This can be done at any time, whether the domain is pending or active.

Tip: Use a subdomain like "mail.yourclinic.com" rather than your root domain. This avoids conflicts with existing email services.
