SMS - Patient Messaging

The SMS integration lets you send text messages to patients directly from their records using a pay-as-you-go credit system.

How to Connect

1. Navigate to Apps > SMS
2. Click Setup SMS
3. A sub-account is created automatically - no credentials or external setup required
4. You are ready to send messages once you have purchased credits

Buying Credits

Open the Buy Credits tab to purchase SMS credits:

500 SMS Credits	£25 (Most Popular)

Click Buy Credits on your chosen pack. You are redirected to Stripe checkout to complete the payment. Credits are added to your account shortly after purchase.

Sending Messages

Click the Send SMS button on the Overview tab, or send messages directly from a patient record. Each message uses one credit.

Sender ID

Customise the sender name that appears on messages:

1. Open the Settings tab
2. Enter a Sender ID (3-11 characters, letters and numbers only, e.g. "DrSmith" or "Clinic123")
3. Click Save

The default sender ID is "JumpEHR" if none is configured.

Monitoring Credits

The Overview tab shows your available credit balance. Click the Refresh button to update the count.

Tip: The 500-credit pack offers the best value. Purchase in bulk to avoid running out during busy periods.
