Move your practice's data to Jump

Last updated: 23 October 2026

How you bring your data across depends on the system you're leaving.

From Semble

Jump migrates Semble data for you: patients and their records. Your request is reviewed by our team before anything starts.

  1. Go to Settings → Migration. You need the billing management permission to see it.
  2. Accept the Migration terms.
  3. Choose the Migration type:
    • Test migration: imports up to 50 patient records, so you can check your data first. There's no charge.
    • Full migration: imports all your data from Semble, for a one-time payment.
  4. Pick your Preferred migration date. Migrations run on Thursday nights, so choose a Thursday at least a week away and within the next six months.
  5. For a full migration, Purchase migration and complete the payment.
  6. Enter your Semble API key (in Semble, under Settings → Integrations → API), add anything we should know, and click Test and submit.

The page then shows the migration's progress: Ready for review, Migration in progress, and Migration complete, with the progress of each kind of record. When it's complete, check the imported data before you start using it day to day. For more on the Semble connection, see Connect Semble.

From any other system

  1. Patients: export them from your current system as a spreadsheet (CSV), then go to Patients → Import patients. Jump checks every row before anything is added, and shows you any that need fixing.
  2. Letters and documents: upload them to each patient's record.
  3. Anything else, such as appointments or clinical notes held in another system: contact us from Help before you start. We'll tell you what can be brought across and how.

Tip: An AI app connected to Jump can't run a migration. It will point you to this article.
