Appointment Delivery Modes and Pricing

The Delivery & Pricing tab on an appointment type controls how the appointment is conducted and what the patient pays.

How to Get There

  1. Open Configuration from the top navigation
  2. Select Appointment Types
  3. Click an appointment type to edit it
  4. Select the Delivery & Pricing tab

Delivery Modes

Enable one or both delivery modes:

  • In-person - the patient visits a physical location
  • Remote consultations - the patient joins remotely

When remote is enabled, choose which channels to offer:

  • Video - a video room is created automatically for each booking
  • Phone - the clinician calls the patient

At least one remote channel must remain enabled if remote consultations are turned on.

Group Booking

For class-style appointments, enable Group/class booking and set:

  • Minimum Participants - the minimum number of patients needed
  • Maximum Participants - the capacity limit

Product and Pricing

To charge for appointments, connect a payment provider in Settings > Apps, then link products to this appointment type.

Stripe

If Stripe is connected:

  • Search for and attach one or more Stripe products with prices
  • Toggle Require online payment to collect payment at the time of booking

Xero

If Xero is connected:

  • Link invoice items for accounting purposes
  • Invoices can be generated and sent to the patient

Quick Price

If neither Stripe nor Xero products are linked, you can set a quick price as a simple monetary value displayed to patients during booking.

Tip: If neither Stripe nor Xero is connected, the pricing section shows a prompt to connect a payment provider in Settings > Apps.
