Home visits let a clinician travel to the patient instead of the patient coming to you. A home visit is a distinct kind of appointment in Jump: it is face to face, but it has no clinic location. Instead it carries the address you are visiting, and everything downstream treats it that way.

Home visits are a Jump Beta feature. An admin turns them on in Settings → Jump Beta → Calendar & booking → Home visits. They stay off until you do, and turning them off puts everything back as it was.
Before you start. Home visits need Redesigned appointment types switched on in Jump Beta as well - the home-visit settings live in that editor. The Jump Beta card will not let you switch home visits on until it is.
There are three things to set up, in this order, and the order matters. Each step only becomes available once the one before it is done.
Go to Configuration → Appointment Types and open the type you want to offer as a visit. In the Delivery mode section, under Face to face, tick Home visit.
A type can be more than one thing at once. Ticking both In clinic and Home visit means the same appointment can be booked either way, and the patient chooses when they book.
Nothing else here works until at least one appointment type has this ticked.
Go to Settings → Clinicians, open the clinician and choose Edit clinician. In the Home visits section, tick Does this clinician provide home visits?, then set their Home base.
The home base is the place the clinician sets off from - a station, a practice, wherever suits. It is not their home address unless they choose it. Search for a postcode or address and pick it from the list; Jump looks up the coordinates once and remembers them.
The home base is what every distance in Jump is measured from. A clinician without one can still do visits, but no distance will be shown and no distance limit can be enforced for them.
Back in the appointment type, a Home visits section appears in Scheduling once Home visit is ticked. It holds two settings.
Maximum visit distance. How far, in miles, a patient may be from the clinician's home base for this type. This is a straight-line distance, not a driving distance, so allow some headroom for real roads. Leave it empty for no limit.
Travel buffer. Your standard buffers protect a room turnaround between clinic appointments, which is rarely the right amount of time for a visit. Tick the home-visit override to set a separate buffer before and after, and Jump reserves that travel time in the diary for visits of this type only.
A clinician's session decides what can actually be booked in a given block of time, so a session has to offer visits before anyone can book one.
Open the session in Configuration → Sessions, or create a new one. Under the delivery options you will see three independent tickboxes: In clinic, Home visit and Remote. Tick Home visit.
These are separate choices, and you can combine them. A session ticked for both In clinic and Home visit offers whichever the patient picks. A session ticked for Home visit only is a visiting round: nothing clinic-based can be booked into it.
Not seeing the Home visit tickbox? It only appears once at least one appointment type has Home visit ticked. An option no service can fulfil would just be clutter, so Jump hides it until it means something.
