How to Configure Clinician Availability

The Availability page gives you a complete view of clinician schedules, individual session instances, and time blocks.

How to Get There

Navigate to Configuration > Availability, or click the Settings icon on the Calendar page.

Schedules Tab

Schedules are recurring availability patterns that generate individual sessions.

The table shows:

  • Name - schedule label
  • Clinician - assigned clinician
  • Location - practice location
  • Schedule - time range and recurrence
  • Valid Period - when the schedule is active
  • Status - Active or Inactive

To create a schedule, click Add Schedule and fill in the details. After creation, most fields are read-only. You can still:

  • Change the Active status
  • Extend or shorten the valid period
  • Regenerate sessions if the pattern needs updating

Sessions Tab

This tab shows individual session instances generated from schedules. Each row represents a specific date and time.

Filters: Schedule name, Clinician, Status (Scheduled, Cancelled, Completed).

Actions:

  • Cancel Session - cancel a specific instance without affecting the recurring schedule
  • Reinstate - restore a previously cancelled session

Modified sessions show a (modified) badge.
