AI Assistant

The AI Assistant provides intelligent clinical support including medication interaction checking, letter drafting, document summarisation, and SNOMED coding suggestions.

How to Enable

  1. Navigate to Apps > AI Assistant
  2. Toggle Enable AI Assistant to on
  3. AI features are immediately available to all users in your organisation

No external account or API key is needed.

Credit System

AI features use a monthly credit allowance. The Overview tab shows:

  • Credits used vs total allocation (with progress bar)
  • Credits remaining
  • Reset date - when credits reset for the next month
  • Total queries made

Usage Analytics

The Usage tab breaks down how AI credits are being used:

  • Total Queries - overall count of AI requests
  • Credits Used and Credits Remaining
  • Usage by Feature - shows each AI feature with a progress bar, query count, and percentage of total usage

Disabling

Toggle Enable AI Assistant to off. AI features are removed from the interface but usage history is retained.

Tip: Monitor the Usage tab to understand which AI features your team uses most. This helps you plan around your monthly credit allowance.
